Tiaki is a piece about responsibility and connection. In te ao Māori, the idea of tiaki speaks to guardianship. The care we hold for people, for the land, and for the things that matter.
This necklace brings together strength and simplicity. A bold mixed-metal coffee bean chain in stainless steel carries a smooth drop of pounamu, suspended from a circular clasp that anchors the design. The contrast of silver and gold reflects balance and harmony, while the greenstone provides a quiet but powerful centre.
Each stone is naturally formed and shaped over time by the rivers of the West Coast of Te Wai Pounamu in Aotearoa New Zealand. Because of this, every piece carries its own colour variations and markings. No two are ever identical.
Tiaki is designed to be worn as a statement of protection, care and connection.
