Spring is officially here—and if you’re like us, you could very well be thinking of changing up your hair colour in addition to your wardrobe.

Instead of making the typical seasonal transition to a lighter, blonde hair for the warmer months, why not take a little inspiration from 2018’s top beauty trends and embrace a rainbow/pastel/candy shade or two?

Rainbow/pastel/candy coloured hair isn’t always the easiest hair hues to achieve and some of our suggestions are a little more intricate, here is something to inspire your next conversation in salon

Besides the technicality of your desired look, you’ll also have to keep in mind your starting shade. If you aren’t starting with highlights or lightened blonde hair, we will need to pre-lighten your hair first — and the darker your base shade, the more work it takes to reach your desired hair colour.
