If there was ever a season to experiment with bold hair colour, it's spring/summer 2019. Josh Wood dyed models' hair a range of pastel hues at Marc Jacobs, choosing shades to match the clothes and eye make-up for a truly tonal look. Meanwhile there were ombré rainbow styles at Vivienne Westwood, Pepto Bismol pink at Matty Bovan and troll-inspired shades at Ashley Williams, whilst model Mariacarla Boscono showed off her own colour transformation, opting for a new rose-gold dye job.
Each season the team at the Pantone Color Institute creates the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report; a colour overview highlighting the top colours fashion designers showing at Fashion Week around the world will be featuring in their collections for the upcoming season.
We asked salon owner Jennifer Morgan to give us the heads up on the upcoming colour trends that we will be seeing in the coming season

When I was growing up my mother was full of wisdom and had a saying for most situations…
“If it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger”
“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”
“Shit happens…it’s how you deal with it that matters”
“Who said life was going to be easy?”
“Treat others as you would wish to be treated”
Unorthodox to say the least, parent in her parenting approach she understood that life is a complex game and you have to stand true to your beliefs and your values.
So if life is a game… its ‘lessons’ are the cards you are dealt…a mix of chance and luck (and hopefully not too much cheating) but most importantly they are ‘character building’…that was what I grew up believing, there is something to be learned from the hard times, even if you can’t see it when its happening

Google “food inspired hair” and you will amazed at the offerings…you may remember the Pumpkin Spice Hair craze from 2016 or in 2017 there was Peanut Butter & Jelly hair.. thats a balayage creation that has a luscious caramel highlight (aka the peanut butter) and deep purple (aka the jelly) tones - if you were wondering?! There is something so superbly comforting when you get a point with your hairstylist that you totally trust them and know that they are going to deliver amazing results every time?
It’s so nice to be able to mentally check that off the list of things you need to think about.
