CHRISTMAS CHEER
It’s almost Christmas Holiday season and you know what that means….. Christmas cocktails of course!
So this weeks blog is not really hear related...but in the spirit (no pun intended) here are some fun recipes for your December Christmas bash!
So why not make your gathering a little more festive with some of our Christmas themed drinks & cocktail recipes.
Don’t forget to garnish your glasses with tiny candy canes, cranberries or even crushed candy. We have put together a selection of the best Christmas / Holiday season cocktails and mixed drink recipes.
So lets get into the festive spirits and get mixing!
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Ingredients
1 1/4 White Rum
Lemon(s)
1 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1/2ozGrenadine syrup
Ice Cubes
Cranberry Juice
Method
Mix the light rum. lemon juice. and grenadine. Add the ice cubes and fill to your own taste with Cranberry juice. Add a wedge of lemon on your glass and voila! Enjoy! .
Snowball
Ingredients
1 Part Advocaat Liqueur
2 Parts Lemonade
Ice Cubes
Method
Take the glass and rub the edge on a lemon. then dip the rim in sugar. Drop the ice cubes into the glass. pour a 1/3 liqueur and fill it up with Sprite. Lemonade.
Silent Night Cap
Ingredients
1/2 oz White Chocolate Liqueur
1/4 oz Almond Liqueur
1/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
Method
Shake and strain into a Martini Glass.
Candy Cane
Ingredients
3/4 oz Peppermint Schnapps
3/4 oz Creme De Cacao
1/4 oz Grenadine syrup
Lemonade
Method
In glass filled with ice. combine peppermint schnapps. white creme de cacao & grenadine. Fill glass with half-and-half. Top with 7-up. Garnish with a small candycane
White Christmas Martini
Ingredients
1 oz(s) Vanilla Vodka
1oz(s)Amaretto
1oz Milk
Method
Chill martini glass in freezer for 10-15 minutes. Pour all ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour into chilled glass and garnish.
Angel’s Wing
Ingredients
1/2 oz White Creme De Cacao
1/2oz Brandy
1 tbsp Light Cream
Method
Pour ingredients carefully. in order given. into a glass so that they do not mix. Serve without mixing. .
Snow White Chocolate Martini
Ingredients
4 oz(s) Vanilla Vodka
1oz(s) Creme De Cacao
2oz(s) White Chocolate Liqueur
1 Teaspoon(s) Chocolate
Method
Pour liqueurs and vodka into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Pour into 2 martini glasses and Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
Santa’s Little Helper
Ingredients
5 oz apple juice
1 1/2 oz apple schnapps
1 1/2 oz beer (lager)
1 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
Method
Pour apple juice into a cocktail shaker. Add Goldschlager, apple schnapps and butterscotch schnapps. Shake and strain into a large cocktail glass. Garnish with an apple slice or cinnamon stick, and serve.
