I’ve spent over 30 years in hairdressing doing what I’ve always loved most — cutting hair well and working with people.
My career has taken me from the salons of Toni & Guy in London through to bringing the brand to New Zealand in 1998. During my time in the UK, I worked alongside Anthony Mascolo and the London Art Team, and co-managed the Covent Garden salon, which at the time was one of the top performing salons in the group. It was a formative period that shaped how I approach both cutting and client experience.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many parts of the industry — from judging national awards and working backstage at New Zealand Fashion Week, to editorial work and education here and internationally. But at the centre of it all has always been the same thing: great hair starts with a great cut.
My approach is grounded in precision, shape and wearability. I’m interested in how your hair actually lives day to day — how it moves, how it grows out, and how it works with your lifestyle. The goal is always to create something that feels effortless, considered and completely you.
At Morgan & Morgan, I’m working exclusively as a cutter. No colour, no noise — just a focus on delivering consistently strong, well-crafted haircuts for clients who value that level of detail.
If you’re someone who understands the difference a truly well-executed cut makes, we’ll get on well.
